**Payment Policy**

At Golden Bamboo Tours, we strive to ensure a seamless booking experience for our clients. To initiate the booking process and secure reservations with our trusted third-party partners, we require a 30% deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is essential for us to commence all necessary arrangements effectively.

In order to finalize all ground preparations and ensure a smooth commencement of your tour, full payment of the remaining balance is due at least 35 days prior to the scheduled start date of the tour.

**Cancellation & Refund Policy**

We understand that circumstances may change, and plans may need to be adjusted accordingly. Our cancellation and refund policies are designed to address various types of bookings, each tailored to the specific requirements of the activity involved.

**A) Mountain Climbs (Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru, Mt. Oldoinyo Lengai, and Mt Longido)**

Should you need to cancel your mountain climb adventure, we request written notice from either you or a member of your group. Depending on the timing of the cancellation relative to the start date of the trek, the following refund structure applies:

– Cancellation notice received up to 7 days before the trek: Full refund (100% of payment received).
– Cancellation notice received 6 to 4 days before the trek: 50% cancellation fee applied.
– Cancellation notice received 3 days or fewer before the trek: No refunds will be provided.

**B) Wildlife Safaris, Cycling Challenges, Cultural Tours, Beach and Water Sports, and other Services**

For cancellations pertaining to these activities, the following cancellation fee structure applies:

– 35 days or longer before the tour: No cancellation fee.
– 20 to 34 days before the tour: 30% cancellation fee.
– 15 to 19 days before the tour: 50% cancellation fee.
– 10 to 18 days before the tour: 75% cancellation fee.
– 9 days or less before the tour: No refunds will be provided.

**Refund Process**

Upon processing your refund, we will deduct applicable bank fees incurred during the refund transfer. International SWIFT transfer fees typically amount to approximately $95, though actual fees may vary based on individual circumstances.

**Date Change Policy**

Should you wish to postpone your booking or switch to a different tour option instead of cancelling outright, we are more than happy to accommodate your request. We kindly ask for written notice at least 14 days before the tour start date. In such cases, any amounts received from you will be retained, and we will work with you to reschedule your booking to a more suitable time.
